The building had real character. Staying there reminded me of stepping back in time. the location was fantastic. It was right at the end of the shambles. breakfast was also lovely and cheap. That was a real bonus.
The toilet seat was broken and very loose. I reported it to the staff, but it wasn't properly fixed .

i found the room quirky and interesting. the shambles room had a great view. i saw a nice pub style bar and dining area with good food. open mic provided entertainment, which i liked.
the windows opened onto a very grimy internal square.

the room featured live plants, which surprised me. a coffee and tea station offered various choices. antique furniture with colorful walls provided the room's interior design, i liked it a lot.

I liked the cleanliness of the room. It was super clean and well kept. I also appreciated the view and found it very good. I enjoyed the helpful staff and how attentive they all were.
The beer quality in the rear bar did not match the front bar.
